Everyone loves stuff that gives out good value for its price, and it’s safe to say that Superlux HD 668B is one of them. A true ‘budget cans’, I did not hesitate to pick up these headphones from someone as soon as it was offered to me. But how does Superlux HD 668B fair as far as the mainstream consumer product competition goes? Lets see.
The words ‘portable’ and ‘audiophile’ don’t usually go well together considering the contrast that they have with each other. Audiophile is more for home listening with a dedicated setup while portable is listening on the go with a single source and no amplification. Nonetheless, we do feel there are headphones out there that can achieve the middle ground, if not more, and thus can be considered as portable audiophile headphones.
This headphone first got my attention when I was looking for a handy portable headphone that I can use alternately with my IEMs. My requirements aren’t really stiff. As long as it sounds decent, comfortable and seals some noise then I felt like it would be fine. And that’s when I stumbled to the Sennheiser PX 210 BT.
One of the popular lifestyle blogs in the country called WhenInManila is holding a contest currently running right now where they are giving away a $995 headphone in Audeze LCD-2. Yes you heard it right!
Brainwavz HM5 is one of the top headphones that I mentioned in the closed-back circumaural category. I used to have this way back last year before deciding to give it to a good friend of mine as a gift. But of course I always don’t mind getting that back. :p
I was browsing some forums and found that you can actually get an unbranded version of the Hm5 for more than half of its price. Yes you read that right!
Since the site is not yet fully done, I can go loose and treat this as a headphone blog for the moment. 🙂 Anyway as the title suggests, this site needs a logo. I am sort of looking for a minimalistic logo that should complement the site’s simple design. I’d love to have a graphic logo more than just a text-based one but it has to be small and super simple that it can easily fit into the site’s very small header.
